September 2007 - Station Earth Strikes Gold in Denver Colorado!

This year’s CEDIA convention held in Denver Colorado drew the largest attendance to date.  After a week of training, certification and a trade show, Station Earth again attended the Cedia Designer Electronic Lifestyle Awards Banquet on Saturday Night September 8th 2007.  This year, Station Earth’s entry was awarded Gold in The Best Integrated Home Category, Level 3.

To be considered for the Integrated Home category the Electronics Integration Firm must supply, install and integrate at least three electronics subsystems.  These systems can include a combination of Automated Lighting Control, Distributed Audio, Security, HVAC and Fireplace Control, Home Theatre and Gate Access.

The Home Theatre room from this residence is currently featured in the October issue of Sound & Vision Magazine, a magazine considered by many to be the authority and voice on our industry.

The award winning residence is located in Guelph Ontario and is a mixture of Stunning Architecture, Inspired Interior Design and Technological Elegance.

This project indeed represents what happens when an Architect, Custom Home Builder, Interior Designer, Home Owner and an Electronics Integration Firm work in unison with a well thought out, designed plan to achieve a common end goal; a property and a project like no other.

September 2006 - After travelling to Denver Colorado for the CEDIA convention, Station Earth’s week was capped off by a lavish awards ceremony honouring the best of the best in the Electronics Integration Industry. Station Earth captured the Silver award for Best Large Home Theatre - Level 1.

The award this year was voted on not only by a technical panel but a consortium of Interior Designers and Architects as well, showing that design and structural elements, as well as technical prowess, weighed heavily on the judging. The award winning theatre was then featured on MSNBC during a profile of electronic trends in home building.

The award winning theatre is located near Guelph and represents what can be accomplished when design meets technology, all within a proposed budget.
